Our educational agent Radha has been traveling to some of the villages outside of Kathmandu and says the quake and its aftershocks have flattened all the buildings and homes in almost all the villages.  She and her workers have to cover their faces from the stench and diseases that occur in disasters like this.  Project Nepal has sent over $7000 from your donations and our reserve funds.  It is to their credit that lives are being saved and families are being given tents, blankets, food, water, and medicine though transport is difficult over broken roads and bridges.  We are in contact with Radha when internet connections allow and will update these pages as information comes in.
